2nd Ascent of Meltdown

by ROAM with Carlo Traversi

Carlo Traversi has made the long-awaited second ascent of Meltdown (5.14c), the intensely fierce finger crack first freed on 14 February 2008 by Beth Rodden at the Upper Cascade Falls, Yosemite Valley, USA. At the time it was climbed it was considered one of the hardest single pitch trad climbs in America, and the hardest trad climb established by a woman.
