ROAM, Next Generation Adventure Network, Launches ROAM TV
Breathtaking Videos Appeal to GenZ and Millennial Audiences
BOULDER (March 25, 2019) ROAM, the next generation adventure network, today launches ROAM TV, part of the company’s newly designed website. ROAM TV is a video channel with original adventure programming featuring stories of human endurance, awe-inspiring destinations, innovation in exploration, athletic prowess, and cultural curiosity.
The ever-growing channel launches with a library of hundreds of videos from renowned contributors including 2019 Academy Award-winner Jimmy Chin, Travis Rice, Andy Best, Chris Burkard, Renan Ozturk, Mike Horn, Keith Ladzinki, Sasha DiGiulian, Andy Mann, Ian Walsh, and Jeremy Jones.
The videos vary in length and include serial episodes from 3 to 5 minutes in length and will eventually include feature length films. Most videos will be ad supported by pre-rolls, interstitials and video-player skin takeovers, among other units. Others will be available on a PPV and SVOD basis.

ROAM uses a social-first strategy that leverage the social presences of its iconic founders and influencers to scale the size of its audiences to well over 2 million viewers.
Among the original videos serials to be featured on ROAM TV will be Cory Richard’s attempt to climb a new route on the North side of Everest. The last time a new route was set on Everest was in 2009. Sasha DiGiulian will host a regular show tracking the exploits of the world’s other great mountain climbers. In the documentary Ice & Palms (a ROAM exclusive) ski mountaineers Jochen Mesle and Max Kroneck complete their dream journey of biking across the Alps, hauling their skis and gear the entire way. And an exclusive interview withAlex Honnold, the first to climb Yosemite’s 3,200-foot El Capitan without ropes, and subject of Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi’s award winning Free Solo.
