It’s hard to beat skiing untouched pow in some of the most pristine wilderness in the country. These skiers explored our parks and public lands like never before, climbing and skiing some 30,000 vertical feet in untouched backcountry. “There is real and intrinsic value in having wild places where people can have adventures, get lost, and challenge themselves,” says Chris Kitchen, director of the film Monumental: Skiing Our National Parks.
