“It was bigger, steeper, scarier, and harder than I ever imagined,” says world-class ski mountaineer Hilaree Nelson of making the first ski descent of 21,165-foot Pasura, also known as the “Peak of Evil,” in the Indian Himalaya last May with Jim Morrison and Chris Figenshau. They dodged storms, slough slides, and extreme exposure to make history and achieve her 20-year dream.
